Work related accidents

When called upon, the council inspects work-related accidents in the following manner:

• inspect business premises such as offices, shops and warehouses to ensure conditions are satisfactory and safe
• investigate accidents at work which involve either staff or the general public
• investigate complaints relating to health and safety
• provide information to businesses and members of the public to increase general awareness of health and safety
• provide training courses to organisations on health and safety topics.
