After completing a five week training course that covers subjects such as personal skills, customer relations and public safety, participants receive a nationally-recognised qualification. You also get help finding a job or a voluntary work placement, and are guaranteed an interview to be a volunteer at the 2012 Games.
This will be running again in October 2007. For more information on the Tower Hamlets Olympic volunteering programme, contact Blossom Young on 020 7364 4839, or email her at blossom.young@towerhamlets.gov.uk.
