CouncilEvents and Activities
Throughout the year there are lots of events and activities taking place in the borough's parks. The parks and open spaces team, including the community ranger service, work in partnership with other council services, friends and community groups to host a wide variety of entertaining, educational and health conscious events through out the year. These include children's events, community festivals, live music, sport and physical activity and health walks. There are some very popular and nationally renowned events that take place in the parks each year, such as the fireworks display, Love Box and Play Day at Victoria Park.
These activities provide an excellent opportunity for residents and visitors of all ages to come together and enjoy the borough's green spaces.
