School supervised medication
Schools are expected to do as much as possible to be inclusive and to remove any obstacles to children being educated, including for children who need medication. The Tower Hamlets health through education drug prevention team works to provide support to schools to help to alleviate many of the problems associated with supervising and administering medicines at school.
For more information, please refer to the section on School supervised medication.
Educational psychology
The council works with parents, teachers and schools to provide an educational psychology service to children and young people in Tower Hamlets.
